Lassine Sinayoko skips training in push for Lens swap

According to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Lassine Sinayoko (25) did not train with AJ Auxerre this morning as he tries to force through a move to RC Lens.

The forward, who has entered the final year of his contract with the Burgundy club, wants to join Les Sang et Or and has reportedly already agreed a four-year contract to become their new number nine.

Reports also stated that Lens had reached an agreement with Auxerre for a €8m move (bonuses included), and on Sunday, it was expected that the striker would complete his medical and join the northern side. However, the only problem was that he was never granted permission to do so.

Auxerre’s manager, Christophe Pélissier, revealed on Saturday evening in a press conference attended by Get French Football News that he was keen to keep hold of the striker. With confusion mounting, Stade Rennais are reportedly looking at stealing in.
