Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal has levelled Real Madrid counterpart Rodrygo in the goal contribution charts in this season’s Champions League.

This comes owing to his exploits in the club’s latest outing.

Wide-man Lamine was of course in from the off once more on Wednesday, as Barcelona welcomed Borussia Dortmund to Catalunya’s capital for a continental clash.

When all was said and done, the Blaugrana made short work of their German opponents, to the tune of a 4-0 triumph.

And the club’s prodigious young attacker played a starring role.

From his customary berth on the right flank, Lamine ran Dortmund’s backline ragged courtesy of a string of brilliant runs and passes, before rounding out the scoring with a fine left-footed finish.

And as alluded to above, in the process, the 17-year-old levelled a member of the attacking ranks at arch rivals Real Madrid.

As revealed by StatMuse on ‘X’, Lamine has joined Rodrygo on seven combined goals and assists in the 2024/25 Champions League.
