Two leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid have provided their respective responses to the club’s defeat at the hands of Valencia.

Real Madrid are of course fresh off an outing to forget on Saturday evening.

After welcoming relegation-battling Valencia to the Spanish capital, Los Blancos fell victim to a last-minute defeat, owing to Hugo Duro’s injury-time header.

As much dealt a heavy blow to the hopes of Carlo Ancelotti’s troops of securing the La Liga title, as Barcelona continue to look the favourites to wrestle back Spanish football supremacy from their arch rivals.

Featuring from the off for Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu were Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé, both of whom came close to notching what could have been crucial goals for their side over the course of the 90 minutes.

Evidently, though, the two Blancos stars are very much aware of the fact that their collective performance on Saturday was simply not up to par.
