MIAMI, Florida – Opportunities to take a jump into women’s football's elite don’t show up every day, so when Paris Saint-Germain knocked on the door of MF Korbin Albert, she did not hesitate.

The 19-year-old has been a talent on the rise for the United States, showing her skill since a very early age, proving how much of a difference-maker she is whenever she takes the pitch.

Albert has been a regular when it comes to United States Youth National Teams, representing her country in different youth categories since she has been available for selection. And she has answered those calls.

Her latest chapter with her National Team was in the 2022 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup, held in Costa Rica this past summer. As expected, Albert was part of the core XI, helping her team control matters in midfield. Although the United States left the competition in group stages, it put their players on the map for various teams, including Albert.

She also displayed her set of skills at the collegiate level, playing for the University of Notre Dame for two seasons. From day one, Albert showcased her level and got recognition for it, as she was named to the nationwide Best XI for freshman at the end of the first season. Taking that with her into her second year, she shined in the NCAA Tournament, reaching the quarterfinal stage with the Irish.

After the 2022 college season, everyone was expecting to see what she would do next at college level, but Albert had other plans. She left Notre Dame after two years to turn professional, and she did so with one of the biggest teams in Europe: Paris Saint-Germain.

The French giants signed her at the beginning of the year, as part of their effort to reinforce their team to go and fight for domestic trophies and the UEFA Women’s Champions League. In the next phase of that tournament, the Parisians will face German side Wolfsburg in the quarterfinals, the first leg being on March 22 at the Parc des Princes.

As she has done throughout her entire football career, Albert will leave everything out on the field to help her team go as far as possible, proving why she has been a name everyone has been talking in every place she has played.
