Al Nassr’s summer rebuild continues at pace with the star signing of France international Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich.
The hugely decorated winger was confirmed as the club’s latest recruit on Friday, signing a three-year contract. Coman, 29, spent 10 years with the German heavyweights, winning nine Bundesliga titles, four German cups, the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League and the 2020 FIFA Club World Cup.
In all, Coman played 339 matches, scoring 72 goals and registering 71 assists.
Previous to that, he represented Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, helping each capture a succession of trophies, including the league title twice in both France and Italy.
A France regular, Coman was part of his national team that reached the final of both the 2016 UEFA European Championship and 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Al Nassr have been one of the most active Roshn Saudi League clubs in the summer transfer window as they get set to kick off their 2025-26 season at next week’s Saudi Super Cup in Hong Kong.
Finishing third in the RSL last term, they have since signed Portuguese international Joao Felix and Spanish centre-back Inigo Martinez from FC Barcelona, while appointing former Al Hilal manager Jorge Jesus. The club also extended captain Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract by another two years.
At Al Nassr, Coman will not only play alongside the Portuguese superstar, but will rekindle his on-pitch relationship with Sadio Mane, who represented Bayern before moving the RSL in 2023.
Al Nassr kick off their campaign on Monday, in the Super Cup semi-final against RSL champions Al Ittihad. They get their league season under way on August 29, away to Al Taawoun.
