That’s the opinion of Scotland teammate and fellow Premier League player John McGinn, who praised the Arsenal star highly.
Brendan Rodgers has agreed for Kieran Tierney to rejoin Celtic on a pre-contract this summer, and Aston Villa captain McGinn has shared his excitement for his friend, describing him as an exceptional player and a true professional.
“Celtic is his club, and I would imagine he is really excited about going back and playing again under Brendan Rodgers.”
John McGinn is confident that Tierney will be excited to return home and get back to work under Rodgers, with his talent poised to play a crucial role as Celtic look to maintain their dominance in Scottish football.

“I’ve no doubt Kieran will add extra quality to the squad”
The Champions League proved to be a positive campaign for the Scottish champions this season, as they reached the knockout stage before narrowly losing to Bayern Munich over two legs. And, McGinn is assured that KT will be keen to build on that progress and push even further.
However, he still has work to do at Arsenal, with the Gunners facing PSG in the semi-finals next week after eliminating Real Madrid. If Mikel Arteta’s side triumphs, it could mark a fairytale conclusion to Tierney’s time at the Emirates, and McGinn is certain that his pal will be eager to exit on the highest possible note.

The Aston Villa captain told the Sunday Post: “I’m really pleased for Kieran. He is an unbelievable footballer and totally dedicated to his profession. Celtic is his club, and I would imagine he is really excited about going back and playing again under Brendan Rodgers.
“I’ve no doubt Kieran will add extra quality to the squad, and his experience will be invaluable as they push towards remaining the dominant team in the country. It’s also about progress in Europe, and Kieran will want to help the club into the Champions League. It’s the tournament every footballer wants to be involved in.”

“So, I wish Kieran well, but he also has plenty to look forward to with Arsenal in the next few weeks, and he’ll be desperate to go out on a high.”
