Manchester City’s most senior pair are set to delay their departures from the club due to fears surrounding trio Jack Grealish, Bernardo Silva and Ederson ahead of the transfer window.

Pep Guardiola’s side could be set for another significant shake-up this summer, following Manchester City’s historic fourth successive Premier League title triumph on Sunday, after a 3-1 win against West Ham at the Etihad Stadium.

The Sky Blues clinched their sixth Premier League title in seven years, and could secure their fourth trophy of the campaign this weekend, when they face Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup Final on Saturday at Wembley.

Saturday’s showpiece clash in north London could mark the end of several Manchester City careers, amid the growing possibility of a series of major exits from the club this summer, as preparations begin for the 2024/25 campaign.

Etihad officials are bracing for a series of approaches from the Saudi Pro League for a number of the Blues’ most senior squad members, meanwhile Bernardo Silva’s £50 million release clause becomes active next month.

Kevin De Bruyne is out of contract at the end of next season, while goalkeeping duo Ederson and Stefan Ortega have both been linked with summer exits from the club.

David McDonnell claims that senior pair Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne are both set to remain at the club until the end of next season, with the duo willing to wait until 2025 to decide on their next career moves.

Manager Pep Guardiola is also out of contract at Manchester City at the end of next season, with the growing potential for the 53-year-old to depart east Manchester following the conclusion of the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.

The future of trio Jack Grealish, Ederson and Bernardo Silva is significantly unclear ahead of this summer’s transfer window however, with McDonnell reporting that all three players could be sold.

There are ‘doubts’ surrounding both Ederson and Silva, as well as ‘uncertainty’ regarding Grealish’s future, after the Englishman made just 26 starts in a campaign plagued by injury problems.

Manchester City are also set to make a series of additions this summer, with Brazilian pair Bruno Guimaraes and Lucas Paqueta both linked with potential moves to the Etihad Stadium.
