FC Bayern Women will be without Katharina Naschenweng for several months, with the defender set to undergo an operation on her cruciate ligament following further examination. The 26-year-old had earlier sprained her knee in the DFB Cup semi-final and also missed the final game of the season at Hoffenheim. Naschenweng will therefore not join up with the Austria national team for their upcoming Euro 2025 qualifiers and will also miss Bayern’s return to training on 1 July.
