Kane named FC Bayern Player of the Month for April | OneFootball

Harry Kane has once again claimed FC Bayern’s Player of the Month award, with April his fourth gong in the vote by fans. The England striker prevailed with 23 percent of votes, coming out ahead of Konrad Laimer (17 percent) and Manuel Neuer (15 percent).

Involved in seven goals in seven games

And it’s not an unfair assessment, given Kane was directly involved in seven goals in as many games in all competitions in April, scoring six and setting up one more. The 30-year-old also demonstrated his nerve time and time again, like with his penalties in the Champions League clashes with Arsenal and Real Madrid, but also his general brilliance on the ball, like with his free-kick in the 5-1 win at Union Berlin.

Kane scored both of Bayern’s goals in the win at home to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Kane set yet more impressive records in April. His brace against Eintracht Frankfurt means he has scored against 16 out of 17 Bundesliga opponents this season. Only Gerd Müller (1966/67, 1969/70), Ailton (2003/04) and Robert Lewandowski (2019/20, 2020/21) had previously got goals against that many opponents in a single Bundesliga campaign.
