Adrien Rabiot’s name has now resurfaced in the search for new personnel. The Frenchman was already being considered by Bayern last year. Now FCB could make the next attempt.

It is not only the search for a coach at Säbener Straße that is currently in full swing. At the same time, the future squad has to be put together, as at least the championship trophy and the DFB Cup should definitely return to Munich next season. For this to succeed, reinforcements are urgently needed. This could now come from Italy and is called Adrien Rabiot.

As a reminder: Thomas Tuchel was probably interested in the French international around a year ago. Although nothing came of a signing, FCB’s interest is apparently hot again, as the portal CaughtOffside reports. Even if Tuchel will no longer be on the touchline in the new season.

Rabiot was also one of the cornerstones of Juve’s midfield this season and could be a replacement for Joshua Kimmich, among others, should the latter leave the club in the summer. The personnel issue is particularly exciting as Rabiot is only under contract in Turin until 30 June 2024. The 29-year-old would therefore be available on a free transfer.

Of course, the European competition is correspondingly fierce, with Manchester United and FC Barcelona also rumoured to be interested in Rabiot.

Rabiot brings the complete package

The versatile midfielder has made 32 competitive appearances for the Old Lady so far this season. The left-footed midfielder is physically top, strong in tackles and also technically gifted. Rabiot is also always involved offensively, as evidenced by his four goals and three assists to date. He would also bring plenty of national and international experience to FCB. One thing is clear: a free agent Rabiot would be a no-brainer for pretty much every top European club.
