The Chicago Fire have signed 30 year old winger Philip Zinckernagel from Belgian giants Club Brugge. The Danish attacker has previously won the Belgian first division with Club Brugge as well as two Norwegian first division titles with FK Bodo/Glimt.
Zinckernagel has played for the likes of Club Brugge, Bodo/Glimt, Nottingham Forest, Watford, Standard Liege, and a few other clubs in his career. He has 391 career first team games played with 81 career goals and 80 career assists. Gregg Berhalter is getting an experienced European winger who has played at some of the highest levels of the game. The Fire now have a winger core of Zinckernagel, Maren Haile-Selassie, Chris Mueller, and Omari Glasgow.
