Swaby has spent most of her career playing her football in Europe. She started out in Iceland with Knattspyrnufélag Fjarðabyggðar before joining Italian club AS Roma where she spent four years. Short spells with Angel City and Paris Saint-Germain followed before Swaby joined AC Milan in 2023.

On the international stage, Swaby is an important member of the Jamaican national team. She is closing in on the 40-cap mark for her country. Swaby has represented The Reggae Girlz at two FIFA Women’s World Cups while she has also captained her country during her international career.

After joining Crystal Palace, Swaby said “I’m super-excited to be here. I’m really looking forward to being able to step onto the pitch with the team and just get straight to work.”

Swaby is Crystal Palace’s third signing of the January transfer window.
