Nicolas Jackson could leave Chelsea this summer with AC Milan “dreaming” of signing the striker according to Fabrizio Romano.

Jackson’s future has been questioned following the arrival of the Liam Delap, and even more so after the Blues signed Joao Pedro.

The 24-year-old has seen himself fall behind Pedro in the pecking order, and the Brazil international scored two superb goals against Fluminense as Jackson looked on from the bench.

AC Milan want Nicolas Jackson

Jackson started last season really well, but then began to drop off around Christmas time and struggled to regain his form after returning from a hamstring injury suffered in February.

The Senegal international managed just ten Premier League goals, although he did score in the Conference League final.

Jackson is now arguably third choice now behind Delap and Pedro, and for the first time in his Chelsea career has genuine competition for his place.

Chelsea are thought to want more than £50m for Jackson, and Romano has now provided an update on the Senegalese’s future.

“There is a possibility for Nico Jackson and Chelsea to part ways this summer,” he told his YouTube channel.

“It’s getting concrete, it’s getting serious, there is interest from several clubs.

“I’m hearing in Premier League and in Italy, with AC Milan dreaming of Nico Jackson.”

Noni Madueke joins Arsenal

Whilst questions continue over Jackson’s future, Noni Madueke is set to join rivals Arsenal after an agreement was reached on Thursday evening.

Arsenal are set to pay a total package of £52m for Madueke, with the England international set to sign a five year contract with Mikel Arteta’s side.

Madueke certainly divided opinion whilst he was at Chelsea, and it will be interesting to see if he develops further at Arsenal, but in any case it’s very good business for the Blues.
