Italy captain Donnarumma agrees personal terms with Manchester City

Italy captain Gigio Donnarumma has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Manchester City, while club-to-club talks began earlier this week.
Italy star Donnarumma has agreed to personal terms with Manchester City, according to the latest transfer report from Fabrizio Romano.

Donnarumma is keen to join Manchester City as he’s not part of Luis Enrique’s plans in Paris.
Gigio and PSG failed to find an agreement over a new contract beyond 2026, and the Ligue 1 giants have already signed Lucas Chevalier as a replacement.

Football Italia reported earlier this week that talks between Manchester City and PSG had already begun, and Romano confirms that club-to-club negotiations are underway. It is also confirmed that the initial asking price is around €50m.
To complete the deal, however, Manchester City must also sell Ederson in the final week of the summer transfer window.

Donnarumma struggled to fight back the tears on Friday night when he bid farewell to PSG fans at the Parc des Princes.
Donnarumma joined the Ligue 1 giants on a free transfer from Milan in 2021.
