Roma are rumored to have partnered up with famous Italian businessman Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone in order to facilitate the construction of the long-awaited new stadium.

According to the latest report by Italian journalist Ugo Trani on Te la do io Tokyo for Tele Radio Stereo, Caltagirone – whose area of expertise lies in  cement manufacturing, real estate and construction via the holding company Caltagirone S.p.A – is now involved with the Friedkins to try and get the project off the ground and running.

Trani claims the Friedkins are in talks with Caltagirone to play an important role in the process that would enable the definite green light for Roma’s new stadium in the Pietralata area.

Negotiations have been taking place for the past two weeks and could soon reach a positive conclusion.
