Isak nominated for Premier League's EA Sports Player of the Month award for January | OneFootball

Isak, who won last month's award after recording eight goals and two assists in six Premier League matches, is up for the prize once again after registering five goals and one assist during another stellar month for the Swedish frontman.

The 25-year-old netted the winner in United's 2-1 away victory against Tottenham Hotspur before bagging a brace in Newcastle's 3-0 triumph over Wolverhampton Wanderers at St. James' Park, becoming the first player in the club's history to score in eight consecutive Premier League outings, as well as assisting Anthony Gordon's goal.

Isak scored a further brace during Newcastle's 3-1 away win at Southampton last weekend, moving into second place on the club's all-time Premier League goalscoring list.

The in-form striker is shortlisted for the award alongside Manchester City's Phil Foden, Cody Gakpo of Liverpool, AFC Bournemouth duo Dean Huijsen and Justin Kluivert, Jean-Philippe Mateta of Crystal Palace and Brentford's Bryan Mbuemo.
