Inter U23's first preseason win comes after a draw in their opener against Trento and an intra-squad friendly against Chivu's side. In their third friendly leading up to the 2025/26 season, the Nerazzurri beat AlbinoLeffe 2-1 by taking the lead in the 23rd minute thanks to an own goal by Potop, deflecting in Kamate’s cross from the right. After Agostinelli equalised for the hosts early in the second half, Inter U23 sealed the win in the 87th minute with a penalty calmly converted by Zuberek.

A positive performance from Stefano Vecchi’s side, who took control of the match midway through a first half that also featured two promising chances for Agbonifo. In the second half, after Agostinelli’s equaliser for AlbinoLeffe, the Nerazzurri pushed hard in search of a winner, creating chances through Zuberek, Berenbruch, and Motta before the 2004-born striker stepped up to the spot and converted the penalty that sealed the 2–1 victory.

Stefano Vecchi’s side will be back in action on Sunday, 10 August, for a friendly against Pro Vercelli. The match will take place at the Stadio Silvio Piola in Vercelli, with kick-off scheduled for 17:30 CEST.
