La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Inter have set their sights on Napoli keeper Alex Meret, who is available as a free agent in the summer and has also been monitored by Manchester United.
Inter want to sign Napoli keeper Meret on a free transfer and are ready to rival Manchester United to secure the goalkeeper’s signature in the summer.
According to the latest Gazzetta dello Sport report, the defending Serie A champions are strongly interested in the 27-year-old, who hasn’t yet reached an agreement to extend his stay at the Stadio Maradona.

The pink paper claims that talks between Meret and Napoli have been ongoing for months, but the two parties haven’t yet shaken hands, so Inter are following all the developments alongside Manchester United.
The Nerazzurri’s interest in the Napoli keeper also comes in a tense moment between the two clubs.
On Tuesday, Napoli coach Antonio Conte hit back at Inter President Beppe Marotta, insisting that the Nerazzurri are the Serie A title favourites and are not focused on their real title contenders this season.
Conte has won four Serie A titles as a coach, all while working with Marotta as a director: three at Juventus and one at Inter.
