Inter are said to be in talks for GNK Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Petar Sucic, who is seen as a potential heir to Hakan Calhanoglu in the midfield.
Sources including Sky Sport Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the idea is to purchase the player now, but leave him in Zagreb on loan for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old already has five senior caps and one goal for Croatia, despite playing for Bosnia and Herzegovina at Under-19 and Under-21 levels.

Sucic is having a very impressive campaign for GNK Dinamo Zagreb with three goals and two draws in 17 competitive games.
That includes two Champions League goals scored against AS Monaco and Slovan Bratislava.
He is already working with an Italian coach, as Fabio Cannavaro took charge of the team a few weeks ago.
Inter hope that Sucic can represent the future of the midfield in the same mould as Calhanoglu or predecessor Marcelo Brozovic.
