Inter Milan are inching closer and closer to signing Marseille winger Luis Henrique, but Bayern Munich and Newcastle United are not out of the race.

This according to French outlet L’Equipe, via FCInterNews. They also report that Nottingham Forest remain interested in signing the 23-year-old.

It is now certainly no secret that Inter Milan are keen on the signature of Marseille winger Luis Henrique.

The Brazilian is a player who the Nerazzurri see as a perfect backup for Denzel Dumfries.

Henrique has the pace and technical quality to be more than just a deputy for Dumfries. He could also compete for the starting spot, and replace the Dutchman in the long term.

Therefore, Inter have marked Henrique out as a priority target. They are keen to get a move on in negotiations, and are ready to make an investment.

There are a number of other clubs who also retain an interest in Henrique’s signature.

German giants Bayern Munich are among them.

Then, there are a couple of Champions League hopefuls from the Premier League in the form of Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest.

However, reports L’Equipe, it is Inter Milan who are in the driver’s seat.

There is work to do in negotiations with Marseille, whose asking price remains too high for Inter.
