Inter Milan could offer striker Francesco Pio Esposito to Como as part of a deal for midfielder Nico Paz.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
It is now certainly no secret that Inter see Como midfielder Paz as a target.
The 20-year-old’s form for the Lariani since joining from Real Madrid last summer has been nothing short of a revelation.
And Inter see Paz as an ideal target to rejuvenate their squad starting with next season.
Making the transfer for Paz happen would not be easy, however.
Inter would certainly face no shortage of competition for the 20-year-old, who has caught many eyes with his performances this campaign.
Then there is the additional factor of Paz’s former club Real Madrid. The Spanish champions have a buyback option as well as a sell-in clause as part of the deal to sell Paz last summer.
However, Inter may feel that they have an ace in the hole as far as convincing Como.
Teenage striker Francesco Pio Esposito has had a real breakout season on loan with Spezia in Serie B this campaign.
Inter are not exactly keen on the idea of losing Pio Esposito.
But the Nerazzurri are aware of the transfer value the 19-year-old has. They know how much interest there is Pio Esposito, who looks all but certain to be playing in Serie A next season.
Therefore, Inter could see Pio Esposito as a perfect player to convince Como as part of a deal for Paz.
