The agent of reported Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid target Jhon Lucumi has confirmed that “big clubs in Europe are interested.”
Lucumi’s agent Simone Rondanini spoke to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb. He confirmed that the Colombian has come onto the radar of some notable names.
Jhon Lucumi has really impressed with his performances for Bologna over the past couple seasons.
The Colombian joined Bologna from Genk in the summer of 2022.
And Lucumi played a significant role in the Rossoblu qualifying for the Champions League last season. Furthermore, he has been even more important this time around, in another push for European football.

Inevitably, Lucumi’s form has attracted some transfer interest from bigger clubs than Bologna.
Inter Milan are reportedly major admirers. Lucumi is on their shortlist of targets as they aim for a big defensive signing this summer.
The 26-year-old’s performance in Bologna’s win over Inter last weekend certainly won’t have done anything to dissuade this interest from the Nerazzurri.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid are also reportedly very keen to bring Lucumi to La Liga.
Lucumi’s agent Simone Rondandini noted that “he currently has a contract with Bologna.”
“The Coppa Italia final is still a ways away. And the most important thing is for the team to achieve their aims, and dream of that Cup final.”
“Then, we’ll see what happens,” said Rondandini.
But the agent also noted that “there are top clubs around Europe who have been following him for some time.”
“But he’s focused on winning the cup with Bologna right now.”
As far as the reported interest of Atletico, Lucumi’s agent noted that “he wouldn’t be the first Colombian to play there and do well.”
“I’m sure that, considering the level he’s at, he could make his mark at a team like that.”
