After winning their match against Club Necaxa on Saturday, Inter Miami has its eye on the game against Pumas. Despite the huge momentum the team is building, the Herons lost two crucial players for the Leagues Cup clash.
However, in the middle of the darkness, Inter Miami received some good news regarding one of Pumas's players.
Moments before the end of the encounter, a key player for Pumas received a red card and will miss the game against Inter Miami.
Yes, as you read it. In the last play of the match, their goalkeeper earned a red card. The word that sums up this action by the former Real Madrid is senseless.
Why? The game was finished, and your team is getting the victory by scoring one minute before the 90th minute, and you bust a complicated game with a reckless move.
Despite what every Pumas Fan could think about it, the action performed by the Former Newells Old Boys gives the Herons the advantage in the preview.
Without Messi, Inter Miami will get fewer chances than it used to. Nevertheless, with Keylor Navas out of the equation, every shot ot target from the Herons could end up with a goal.
Javier Mascherano must take advantage and propose an offensive scheme. Although this is good news, the Herons need to win. There's no margin for error in the tournament, and to qualify, they must win in regular time to earn the three points.
