Chivu worked with Bonny at Parma and is eager to reunite with the 21-year-old at San Siro.
Inter, however, are unlikely to finalise a deal with Parma today, as the June transfer window for teams involved in the Club World Cup closes later today at 20:00 CET.

Parma and Inter held talks on Monday, resulting in the Nerazzurri taking a leading position in the race for the promising striker.
According to the report, Parma value Bonny around €20m-25m. The Nerazzurri will work to finalise the deal in July and were promised to be informed if other clubs call Parma for the striker.
