Inter’s consecutive derby-winning streak has come to an end. After six straight victories, the Nerazzurri fall at San Siro against AC Milan, who win 2-1 thanks to Gabbia’s decisive goal one minute from full time.
It was an intense match, and Inter couldn’t control the game as usual. With four attackers on the pitch, AC Milan created numerous goal-scoring chances. Sommer made some outstanding saves but was beaten twice.
The Rossoneri took the lead after 10 minutes, thanks to a solo run from Pulisic. On 28 minutes Dimarco equalised with a great goal set up by Lautaro. In the second half, Inzaghi's side struggled, trying to contain the opposing attacks, but eventually fell in the final moments. Gabbia’s header, from a free kick on the edge of the box, sealed the victory.
