Chelsea look like the favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens this summer according to reports.
The Blues are gearing up for another busy summer and it’s said they could look to sell as many as seven or eight players to fund their moves in the market.
Chelsea face a critical window as they look to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.
It looks like there will be a lot of movement in the wide areas with Chelsea yet to decide if they will make Jadon Sancho’s move permanent, whilst Noni Madueke is attracting interest from elsewhere.
Chelsea have been linked with Nico Williams, whilst Gittens is a player who’s said to feature highly on their list of targets.

Journalist Christian Falk has now provided an update on the race for Gittens and has claimed the Blues look like the favourites.
“Jamie Gittens: Chelsea have the best chance of prevailing in this particular piece of transfer poker,” he wrote in his Daily Briefing column for Caught Offside.
“The question is: how much money is the club prepared to pay? Dortmund have already lowered their price tag: from €100 to €50million. This is because the player does not fit into coach Niko Kovac’s system.
“That’s why the player himself would also be very much in favour of a move. Gittens’ dream is a transfer to the Premier League.”
Gittens has had a productive season for Dortmund and has 12 goals and registered five assists in 44 appearances in all competitions, and it’s said he wants to leave the club this summer.

Chelsea aren’t the only club interested in Gittens and it’s thought both Liverpool and Bayern Munich are fans of the 20-year-old.
The Blues currently have Carney Chukwuemeka on loan at Dortmund and there could be a possibility they look to use him in some way to do a deal for Gittens, whilst the Bundesliga outfit are also said to be interested in Sancho.
