Fabrizio Romano has reported some big news via his latest YouTube video last night regarding one Chelsea transfer deal that will happen.

Romano has just had a busy January transfer window reporting on all the deals, but for Chelsea, other than loads of rumours, it was a super bland window.

The transfer window closed a couple of weeks back now and it was a very bland and strange one for Chelsea. They only made one signing and he is a player who is just expected to play as a deep backup option this season and then probably go on loan in the summer.

Other than that, Chelsea just loaned a bunch of players out with the only permanent one being Cesare Casadei to Torino in the end.

Back in the summer though, it was a different story for Chelsea as they bought in a number of new attacking players, one of which was Jadon Sancho on loan from Manchester United.

Sancho will join Chelsea permanently

In the summer of 2025, Sancho will join Chelsea on a permanent transfer, Romano has just guaranteed that to happen.

He says:

“I can guarantee to you that Chelsea are still very happy with the signing of Jadon Sancho. The obligation to buy is not in doubt. He’s going to be a Chelsea player by the end of the season. No doubts. That’s guaranteed.

“Despite criticism around his recent performances, Chelsea are very happy with Sancho and they are protecting the player and their investment. The final price Chelsea will pay for the player will be £22m-£25m based on end league position.”

So there you have it, Sancho is a Blue and will stay a Blue!
