The Newcastle United head coach oversaw four wins and a draw from six league fixtures in the month, including a draw with leaders Liverpool and victories over Aston Villa and Manchester United.
His side - who also beat Brentford in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup - ended December with four successive clean sheets, scoring 13 unanswered goals.

Voting is now open here and closes at 11am GMT on Monday, 6th January, with Howe looking to win the award for a sixth time.
