The two attacking players have been the bright sparks in the Baggies' season so far, and FLW has taken a look at how much they earn.

Josh Maja and Tom Fellows have been the two bright sparks on the pitch for West Bromwich Albion this season.

While wins have been slightly harder to come by in recent weeks, the start of the campaign was excellent and both players helped out with goal contributions.

Fellows has struggled to have the same impact since the October international break, but with his qualities, it will not be long before he starts picking up assists consistently again.

Similarly, Maja's early season form had started to slow, but a fantastic backheeled goal against Luton Town saw his five-game drought come to an end before it became too much of a concern.

The attacking pair have become focal points of Carlos Corberan's team, and Football League World has compared how much they are estimated to be earning at West Brom using Capology's figures.

Josh Maja's estimated West Brom salary is nearly three times higher than Tom Fellows'

While they both have similar importance in this current Baggies side, it is Maja who leads the way in terms of how much each player is paid.

The striker's current contract is due to expire in the summer of 2026, and since signing that deal at The Hawthorns in August 2023, he has been earning £17,000-a-week, or £884,000-a-year, according to estimates made Capology.

It must be stressed that this is only an estimation, and should not be treated as a true fact, but it does give some indication of how much the 25-year-old is being paid by Shilen Patel.

On the other hand, his younger teammate, Fellows, is apparently one of the lowest-paid players at the club at the moment.

The winger is apparently earning a weekly wage of £6,000, or £312,000-a-year.

He signed his new deal in January, with his future secured in the West Midlands until 2027. Capology's estimates show a great difference in how much the players are paid, and it would not be a surprise if Fellows' wage rises in the coming years.

Josh Maja has been the striker that West Brom have lacked in recent years

While this is not his first season at The Hawthorns, 2024/25 has seen Maja become a much bigger part of Corberan's team, and he has ensured that Daryl Dike's loss has not been felt too much.

Fellows has been able to work excellently with the striker, and they had formed a formidable partnership at the start of the campaign, one that saw West Brom win five of their first six Championship games.

Although recent weeks have been difficult, both players have the ability to help their team turn round this awkward patch of form and re-establish themselves as a strong contender for the top six and beyond.

Maja's early campaign strikes mean that he is still on for a 20-goal season, and he is proving why he is being paid a relatively large wage at The Hawthorns as West Brom go searching for a return to the Premier League.
