World Cup winner Ron-Robert Zieler has established himself as a Hannover 96 legend - 382 games, including 93 clean sheets, make him the player with the 6th most appearances of all times for die Roten!

Since he has decided to return to his hometown club 1.FC Köln, Hannover were on the lookout for someone to follow in his footsteps - and they have now officially found his successor: Nahuel Noll.

The 22-year-old has gone to Hannover from Hoffenheim on a 1-year-loan deal. Noll has shown great potential at his last loan station at Greuther Fürth last season and will be eager to play for an even “bigger” team in the 2. Bundesliga.

"I already know Nahuel [Noll] from my time at Hoffenheim, when he played for the U19s. Even back then, he was already extremely advanced, both in terms of his athleticism and his personal development. Since then, he has followed his path very consistently. […]

Nahuel [Noll] has all the skills required for his position and has now also reached the necessary maturity. It's no secret that he was on the radar of several clubs. We're pleased that we were able to convince him to join us after Ron's [Ron-Robert Zieler] transfer created a need in the goalkeeper position", said Hannover head of sport Marcus Mann.

Nahuel Noll himself also commented on the transfer: "I'm very happy about the move to 96 because it's definitely a big step in my career. I'm extremely ambitious - both in terms of the team's success and my own performance development. What Maxi Beier, Bright Arrey-Mbi and of course Nicolò Tresoldi told me about 96 was totally positive and really impressed me. […]

As young players, they all received outstanding support here and were able to go their own way. The talks with Marcus Mann and the coach then provided a very clear picture of the sporting direction of the team. That's why I'm really looking forward to our team, the club, the stadium and the fans and want to prove myself here."

Noll is already Hannover's 15th signing in this transfer window.
