A 3pm kick-off on Saturday afternoon.

United set to face Ipswich Town.

Harry Redknapp talking ahead of Newcastle United playing away at Ipswich:

“What a massive, massive win that was for Ipswich last week against Wolves.

“To win so late on will only lift the mood and atmosphere in the dressing room, they should have a bit more belief about them.

“It’s been a good week for Newcastle and boy did they need it.

“They cruised to a win over Leicester last week before beating Brentford in the League Cup.

“They might have just turned a corner.

“I can see Newcastle going on a decent run of form, 2-1.

“One to watch – Sandro Tonali has been in great form but so too has Alexander Isak – what a player he is.”

Can’t disagree with most of what Harry Redknapp has had to say.

As he says, Newcastle United hitting form in recent games, with the likes of Isak and Tonali showing their quality.

Eddie Howe’s side have scored 12 goals in their last four matches (all competitions) and facing the only Premier League team yet to win a game at home. Ipswich have four draws and four defeats at home, only scoring six goals in the eight PL home games, whilst conceding 12.

Three of those six home PL goals have been scored by their best player and top goalscorer Liam Delap, who is suspended for this one.

A great opportunity for Eddie Howe’s side, especially if they can reproduce the kind of form shown in the last last NUFC home matches.
