Haaland up for Premier League Player of the Month award | OneFootball

Erling Haaland’s spectacular start to the 2024/25 season has earned him a nomination for the EA Sports Player of the Month award.

Our No.9 was prolific throughout August, scoring in the 2-0 win at Chelsea before bagging back-to-back hat-tricks against Ipswich Town and West Ham United.

He is already four goals clear of his nearest rival in the embryonic race for the Premier League Golden Boot – an award he has won in his first two seasons with City.

Haaland faces competition from seven other players.

Bryan Mbeumo has bagged three goals so far for Brentford, while Chelsea’s Cole Palmer has one goal and three assists to his name.

Also nominated are Aston Villa’s Amadou Onana along with Arsenal duo David Raya and Bukayo Saka.

Liverpool’s Mo Salah and Brighton’s Danny Welbeck complete the shortlist.
