MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Qualifiers continue, with action kicking off in Groups A, C, and E across the Dominican Republic, Antigua and Barbuda, and Trinidad and Tobago on Friday.

The qualifiers will see 24 nations compete to determine the six who will advance to the 2025 Concacaf U-20 Women’s Championship, which will determine the four Concacaf representatives to the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Group A

Guyana vs. Belize

Guyana and Belize take the pitch in Group A at the ABFA Technical Center in Saint John's, Antigua and Barbuda.

A first-time encounter between the two nations awaits as each keeps writing its history in the competition.

Guyana makes its fourth appearance in the CWU20Q, adding to their 2012, 2020, and 2023 campaigns. The program has qualified for the Final Round twice, with its best result coming in 2020 by reaching the Quarterfinals.

Belize will seek its first Final Round qualification. This is the nation’s fifth appearance, present in 2014, 2018, 2022, and 2023.

Haiti vs. Antigua and Barbuda

Haiti and Antigua and Barbuda meet in Group A at the ABFA Technical Center in Saint John's, Antigua and Barbuda.

Haiti has carved its path as one of the most successful Caribbean nations in the CWU20Q. This is the seventh appearance for the nation, which has qualified for the final round six times and finished in the podium twice in 2018 and 2020, in third place.

Antigua and Barbuda enters its ninth appearance at the CWU20Q. It participated in the tournament from 2002 until 2022 and is seeking its first trip to the final round.

Group C

Panama vs. Cuba

Panama and Cuba will meet in Group C at the Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This will be the second time these teams share the pitch.

Las Canaleras lead the all-time series 1-0-0, and will make their 10th qualifiers appearance. Panama has been in the Final Round seven times, their most successful run being in 2012, when they hosted the tournament and finished in fourth place.

Cuba enters its seventh CWU20Q participation and has qualified for the Final Round five previous times. Las Leonas del Caribe have gone as far as the Round of 16 in 2020, their best finish yet.

Dominican Republic vs. Bonaire

The Dominican Republic hosts Bonaire in Group C at the Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

This will be the second time the two nations face each other in the qualifiers. The first meeting was in 2017 when the Dominicans obtained the victory.

This will be the Dominican Republic’s eighth appearance in the qualifiers, advancing to the Final Round three times. The nation’s best result came on home soil in 2020, finishing in fourth place.

Bonaire is making its second participation at the CWU20Q, and first since 2018, and seeks to advance to the final round for the first time.

Group E

Canada vs. Dominica

Canada meets Dominica in Group E at Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago.

Canada will take part in the CWU20Q for their second time, having lifted the trophy twice, in 2004 and 2008, finishing as runners-up three times (2006, 2012, and 2015) and getting the bronze medal in 2022 and 2023. Canada has qualified for the FIFA U-20 World Cup nine times, finishing as runners-up when they hosted the tournament in 2002.

Dominica will be starting their ninth appearance in the qualifiers and aspires to its first participation in the final round.

Trinidad and Tobago vs. Bermuda

Trinidad and Tobago hosts Bermuda in Group E at Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago.

The Soca Girlz are no strangers to the CWU20Q, making their 10th appearance and qualifying to the Final Round in every single edition. Their best result came in 2014, when they finished fourth.

Starting their seventh CWU20Q campaign, Bermuda is seeking its third Final Round qualification, doing so in 2020 and 2022. Its best finish came in the Round of 16 on two occasions.
