Gianluigi Donnarumma’s agent confirms Premier League plans amid Manchester City interest | OneFootball

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Gianluigi Donnarumma’s (26) agent has confirmed that his client plans to move to the Premier League amid interest from Manchester City. The English club are keen on bringing the Paris Saint-Germain stopper to the English top flight this summer.

Donnarumma has been frozen out by PSG, with the club opting to sign Lucas Chevalier (23) from Lille to replace the Italian international goalkeeper. The former AC Milan stopper’s contract at the Parc des Princes is set to expire at the end of the season, and with no agreement reached, the Ligue 1 champions view it as the opportune time for a refresh against the post.

The 26-year-old has made it clear that he did not wish to leave Les Parisiens but has confirmed he will now find a new club. That club appears to be in England after comments recently made by his agent, “The Premier League is the next step for him in my view, we’re working on it.”
