Germany and France meet in the UEFA Nations League third-place play-off this evening.
Hosts Germany lost to Portugal in the semi-final, while France were beaten 5-4 by Spain in a nine-goal tie.
The Germans had led against Portugal but conceded two quick-fire goals to crash out of the competition. France were stunned by Spain, trailing 4-0 after 55 minutes, before a late fightback put respectability on the scoreline.
The Nations League bronze medal is at stake as two neighbouring nations meet at the MHP Arena in Stuttgart.
Both sides are expected to rotate their options for the contest with little on the line. Julian Nagelsmann could bring in the likes of Karim Adeyemi and Niclas Fullkrug from the start after both were introduced from the bench against Portugal.
Tom Bischof will hope to make his Germany debut in the tie with the Hoffenheim teenager in the squad for the first time. The 19-year-old will join Bayern Munich on a free transfer when his contract expires this summer.
Nagelsmann is without a host of senior names with the likes of Kai Havertz, Antonio Rudiger and Jamal Musiala all basent from the squad this month.
Germany predicted XI: Ter Stegen; Tah, Koch, Anton; Kimmich, Gross, Goretzka, Gosens; Gnabry, Wirtz; Fullkrug.
