Gearing up for Mainz

Tuta trained on his own and Aurèle Amenda continued his recovery from injury on day two of Eintracht’s mid-season preparations. The week finishes with a friendly at Mainz.

The sun was shining over the training pitches outside Deutsche Bank Park on Friday morning as the Eagles took part in their second training session of 2025. Head coach Dino Toppmöller had 21 outfield players and four goalkeepers at his disposal, including youngsters Noah Fenyö, Ebu Bekir Is and Amil Siljevic.

Tuta, who missed Eintracht’s last two games of 2024 with a calf injury, trained on his own, while Aurèle Amenda continued his recovery from a high ankle sprain.

On Sunday 5 January, Eintracht travel to 1. FSV Mainz 05 for a 120-minute friendly.
