Gasperini to hold key meeting with Atalanta, Roma monitoring the situation

It could be a decisive day for the future of Gian Piero Gasperini.

According to Sky Sport, the Atalanta coach arrived this morning at the Zingonia sports center for a meeting with the management regarding his permanence on the Nerazzurri bench.

Gasperini still has a contract valid until 2026, but the Bergamo club has already put on the table a proposal to renew until 2027 with a related salary adjustment.

Roma, in the meantime, remains on the sidelines, carefully observing the evolution of the situation.

Gasperini is in fact one of the profiles on the Giallorossi’s list for Claudio Ranieri’s succession, even if the priority remains Cesc Fabregas, whose future depends on Como.
