Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitiké subject of Premier League interest

Hugo Ekitiké (22) never made the move to Paris Saint-Germain work. The France youth international looked bereft of confidence after trading formative club Stad de Reims for the Parc des Princes back in the summer of 2023. 18 months and only four goals later, he joined Eintracht Frankfurt, initially on loan, before making the move permanent in the summer.

In 48 appearances for the Bundesliga side, he already has 29 goal contributions (21 goals, eight assists), 23 of which (17 goals, six assists) have come during the current campaign. His return to form in Germany has not gone unnoticed. As per a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Ekitiké is the subject of interest from at least three Premier League sides.

The journalist added that the French centre forward is a player to watch during the summer transfer window with Eintracht Frankfurt braced for approaches for their prolific striker.
