Francesco Farioli wants to reunite with OGC Nice’s Evann Guessand at Ajax | OneFootball

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Francesco Farioli wants to reunite with OGC Nice forward Evann Guessand (23) at Eredivisie giants Ajax.

Farioli arrived at Nice from Turkey last summer, however, he spent just one season with Le Gym before catching the eye of Ajax and making the move to the Netherlands. In his time with Le Gym, he led the club back into Europe thanks to a fifth-place finish and Guessand played his part in getting them there.

The academy product, who spent the previous season on loan at FC Nantes, played 38 times for Les Aiglons last season, netting on seven occasions and registering two assists. The Frenchman was largely used as a backup to Terem Moffi, however, amid the Nigerian striker’s struggles, Guessand, who impressed when given the chance, did manage to usurp him at times during the season.

Farioli is now interested in reuniting with Guessand, according to Foot Mercato. Whilst there are not currently any discussions between the two clubs, there is intent on the part of Farioli and more concrete advances could soon be made.
