Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram did not feature in last Sunday’s Serie A win over Torino.

That was hardly a surprise. The Frenchman was in desperate need of a rest after Inter’s Champions League semifinal second leg against Barcelona.

That match had went the distance. Therefore, Thuram played all two hours of an epic match that went to extra time.

However, Marcus Thuram has now had more than a week to rest and recuperate.

Therefore, the 27-year-old has certainly had the chance to get back into condition after his efforts against Barcelona.

Accordingly, reports Tuttosport, Thuram will return to Inter’s starting eleven tomorrow.

The Nerazzurri have a massive Serie A match against Lazio on the way. Thuram will play from the first minute.

Meanwhile, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez is absent due to a muscle problem.

Therefore, it will fall to Iranian international Mehdi Taremi to partner Thuram in attack.

Taremi had also started for Inter against Torino last weekend. Furthermore, he played as a substitute in both legs against Barcelona, assisting Davide Frattesi’s stoppage time winner in the second.
