Formal investigation opened as Real Madrid star Mbappé accuses PSG of harassment & extortion | OneFootball

A pair of investigators have been appointed to take charge of Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé’s case against former club Paris Saint-Germain.

That’s according to Le Parisien, citing AFP, who have on Thursday provided an insight into the situation.

Frontman Mbappé for his part filed an official complaint against PSG last month.

This came for ‘moral harassment and attempted extortion of a signature’, with the brass at the Parc des Princes accused of attempting to force their then-striker into a signing contract renewal through the use of threats regarding his role in Luis Enrique’s squad.

And as alluded to above, this week, the case has taken a significant step forward.

As per a report from Le Parisien:

‘Two investigating judges have been appointed, a source close to the case said, to investigate the accusations made by the player, who now plays as a striker for Real Madrid.’

The case has been entrusted to the Brigade for the Repression of Crimes Against Persons (BRDP).
