Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi was interviewed by DAZN prior to Roma’s match against Inter.
The French executive addressed the impact of having no away support due to the restrictions implemented in light of the clashes that took place during the latest Derby della Capitale.
“We are sad, we know their importance. Fans are important for all teams, football without them is not football. For me it is a shame to see those seats free.”
“I do not think it is the right way: our fans pay for a minority. But they are always with us and even today they will be by our side,” he said.
“Right now what matters is Roma, the team, my personal goals don’t matter. We have the responsibility to build a club more than a team, a great organization. I believe in this.”
“Ranieri’s last games? Claudio is the right person for us. We don’t think about the past but about the present, about today. We are not afraid, we have to continue like this. We have to exploit the strength of Ranieri’s last moments. I hope the team can do their best to finish the season well.”
