Fermin Lopez has been an unsung hero of sorts for Barcelona ever since making his breakthrough under Xavi Hernandez.
Over the past two seasons, the Spaniard has emerged as a great utility player who can not only offer versatility but also creativity in the final third.
Fermin has already played 88 matches for Barcelona, racking up 19 goals and 11 assists. His performances haven’t gone unnoticed either, with several clubs now keen on his services.
Manchester United have emerged as a potential suitor for Fermin, with the Premier League giants ready to offer €70 million for the Spanish international while doubling his salary.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have yet to receive any offer for Fermin Lopez, certainly not from Manchester United.
This may disappoint many, as such an offer was bound to entice Barcelona, who are going through a tough time and may require fresh revenue in order to register new signings.

Selling Fermin for €70 million could have gone a long way in alleviating some of Barcelona’s problems.
The report adds that Barcelona coach Hansi Flick is not too interested in offloading Fermin Lopez this summer.
The German tactician fully counts on Fermin’s services heading into the new season and doesn’t want him to leave the club.
This is despite the fact that Fermin isn’t actually a first-team regular in the Barcelona team and is behind Dani Olmo, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha in the pecking order of things.
Yet, Flick doesn’t want Barcelona to consider selling Fermin, knowing he could be a vital cog for the club next season, especially when team rotations come into play.
