Daba Diakité officially joins FC Sheriff Tiraspol this Friday, July 18, 2025. The young Malian midfielder is taking his first steps in Europe after two solid seasons with Djoliba AC, one of Mali's most decorated clubs.
Daba Diakité leaves Djoliba AC to sign for FC Sheriff, the flagship club of the Moldovan championship. Born on February 23, 2004, in Sebekoro in southwestern Mali, the young midfielder first played for AC Polis before signing with Djoliba in 2022. Since his arrival, he has quickly established himself as a key figure in the squad. He won the 2023/24 Malian Championship with Djoliba and took part in the CAF Champions League qualifiers.
