  1. A BVB fan embassy will also be open in Cincinnati, providing a central point of contact for all BVB fans. Friday, 20 June: The Pitch (address: 1430 Central Pkwy, Cincinnati, OH 45202, USA) Admission from 18:00. Welcome by Patrick Owomoyela from 19:09. Saturday, 21 June: The Pitch (address: 1430 Central Pkwy, Cincinnati, OH 45202, USA) Doors open at 09:00. Large group photo with all interested BVB fans in front of the stadium at 10:20. After the match, the fan embassy will reopen at 14:00. Sunday, 22 June: The Pitch (Address: 1430 Central Pkwy, Cincinnati, OH 45202, USA) Admission from 12:00 Live recording of ‘OWO – The Black & Yellow Show’ at around 14:00.

During the second group match, fan representatives Benedikt Watermeier (+491702285155, [email protected]) and Sebastian Schneider (+491702069435, [email protected]) will be available to assist you and will be in Cincinnati from the weekend onwards.

  • Please note that you will need a valid passport and an approved ESTA to enter the USA.
  • Please also observe the travel and safety information provided and regularly updated by the Federal Foreign Office. In this context, the Federal Foreign Office advises, among other things, to ensure adequate vaccination protection against measles. TQL Stadium is located in downtown Cincinnati, close to the BVB fan embassy ‘The Pitch’.

Getting there by public transport

  • The stadium is about a 15-minute walk from Union Station.
  • There is also a free tram service in Cincinnati that runs on a 6-kilometre loop through the city.
  • The stops ‘14th & Elm’ and ‘Liberty & Elm’ are a 5-minute walk from the stadium.

  • TQL Stadium (address: 1501 Central Pkwy, Cincinnati, OH 45214, USA) opens 120 minutes before kick-off, i.e. at 10:00 local time.
  • At the stadium entrance, there will first be a ticket check and then a body check. Please note that every spectator must pass through a metal detector.
  • Admission will be supervised by stewards and the police.
  • Please note that tickets are only valid in the FIFA ticket app and will only be activated shortly before the match day, at which point they will become ‘visible’. An internet connection is not required for this.

Permitted fan paraphernalia:

  • Flags (max. 2x1.5 metres) Flagpoles must be flexible and non-flammable. Flagpoles must not be longer than one metre and must not exceed one centimetre in diameter.
  • Flags that are larger must be registered in advance via FIFA's Fan Material Portal at least 5 days before the match.
  • Fans with larger flags must be at the stadium 2.5 hours before kick-off for fan material checks.
  • Please note that flags and other fan paraphernalia with political, discriminatory or commercial content are not permitted and may result in exclusion from the stadium.

  • Transparent plastic bags (max. size: 30 cm x 15 cm x 30 cm)
  • Small bags that are not transparent (max. size: 11 cm x 16.5 cm)
  • Small umbrellas
  • Bags and backpacks larger than the specified dimensions
  • Camera bags of any kind
  • Pyrotechnics of any kind
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Bottles and cans of any kind
  • Food and drinks

There is a free storage facility at the stadium at the “First Financial Gate” (east side of the stadium).

  • The BVB fan section at TQL Stadium is located in blocks 127-129 and 227-229.
  • Tickets will be checked again when entering the seating areas of the stadium. Please make sure to use your assigned seat.
  • Only debit or credit cards can be used for payment in the stadium.
  • Please note that smoking is not permitted in the stadium.
  • Food and drinks may be taken into the stands and consumed there.
  • Alcohol is served in the stadium. Please note that you must be 21 years of age to purchase alcohol in the United States and may be required to show proof of age.
  • Please also observe the additional rules of conduct and the applicable stadium regulations.
