Transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano has said that Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid is going to be one of the most historical moments in the sport’s history.

Following his announcement of departure from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, France forward Kylian Mbappe is set to become a new Real Madrid player.

Now, a lot has been said about this move, but the official announcement is pending from the team from the Spanish capital. This is mostly because they are preparing for the UEFA Champions League final and do not want the players to be distracted.

Speaking about the move, though, Romano was quoted by Madrid Xtra as saying, “Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid will be one of the most historical moments in the history of the football transfer market.”

When will Real Madrid announce Kylian Mbappe?

As reported before, the original plan for Real Madrid was to reveal Mbappe as a member of Los Blancos after both PSG and Real Madrid had wrapped up their Champions League journeys.

This strategy aimed to uphold the dignity of both clubs while the pursuit of the European trophy was ongoing.

However, given Real Madrid’s recent surge into the final set for June 1st against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley, it is probable that the official declaration of Mbappe’s acquisition will be deferred until after this significant event.

Nonetheless, this slight postponement should not diminish the enthusiasm of Madridistas. The club remains dedicated to their quest for their 15th UCL title as they prepare to face Borussia Dortmund in the upcoming month.

Meanwhile, it must be noted that Mbappe’s salary at Real Madrid is slated to align with the earnings of his teammates, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius, thereby mitigating any potential discord within the squad.

This means that the acclaimed French World Cup champion will command a post-tax income of approximately €25 million while donning the iconic white jersey of Real Madrid.
