Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid is raising questions after a quiet performance at the Club World Cup, sparking more talk about a possible move to PSG. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has weighed in as the summer window heats up.

PSG’s interest in Rodrygo isn’t entirely clear. Josué Cassé from Foot Mercato says the Brazilian forward isn’t currently on their radar, which clashes with Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, who also ruled out Tottenham Hotspur as a destination.

That said, Plettenberg noted that both Liverpool and PSG are keeping an eye on Rodrygo’s situation. PSG is reportedly serious about signing a top young winger, but any move could depend on how the transfer window unfolds in the next few weeks.

Recently, RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins reported that for Bradley Barcola to leave PSG, two things have to happen: the player has to want out, and the club must get an offer over €100 million. So far, neither has happened, even though several clubs, including Liverpool, are interested.

Nonetheless, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano gave the latest on this triangle of rumors.

“PSG could be interested in Rodrygo,” Romano said (h/t Le10Sport). “But Rodrygo is very happy to stay at Real Madrid; he wants to fight for his place. He is fully focused on Real Madrid. However, at PSG, if Barcola decides to leave, if Liverpool goes after him, Rodrygo could be an option.

“But there is nothing concrete, there are no negotiations between PSG and Rodrygo, between PSG and Real, between Liverpool and Barcola, or between Liverpool and PSG.”
