The draw for the FA Cup quarter-finals has been made after the conclusion of the weekend’s fifth-round ties.
Manchester City are aiming to reach a third consecutive FA Cup final and Pep Guardiola’s side will face Bournemouth at The Vitality Stadium.
The Cherries squeezed past Wolves on penalties to reach the last eight, while City beat Plymouth 3-1 at the Etihad. Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth side beat Manchester City on the south coast in the Premier League earlier this season.
Fulham’s reward for eliminating holders Manchester United is a London derby with Crystal Palace. The capital clubs are each chasing a first major trophy and one is guaranteed progress to the semi-finals.
Preston North End are the only non-Premier League team left in the competition. The Championship outfit will host Aston Villa at Deepdale in the last eight.
The final tie of the quarter-final draw will see Brighton host either Nottingham Forest or Ipswich, with the latter duo to play their fifth-round tie on Monday night.
