An insight into the extent of the interest to have mounted in the signature of Real Madrid starlet Arda Güler with a view to the summer has been forthcoming online.

The info comes courtesy of transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has confirmed that ‘five to six’ clubs expressed their eagerness to bring the Turk in on loan for next season.

Güler, for his part, however, never entertained such proposals.

The 19-year-old has of course enjoyed an uptick in both game-time and production over the last few weeks, all of a sudden looking altogether more comfortable with life in Spain’s capital.

And as much has only served in proving the coaching staff at the Santiago Bernabéu right, in their stance that Güler simply needed more time to adapt to the rigours of the very top level of the game.

Both parties have in turn made clear that the intention is to continue their relationship into next season and beyond.

The lengthy list of clubs to have expressed interest in Güler’s services, both from La Liga and abroad, will therefore be forced to look elsewhere this summer.
