Simone Inzaghi is ready to become the new Al-Hilal coach, getting a two-year contract with an option for a further campaign and a signing bonus from €4m to €5m, Football Italia understands.

Simone Inzaghi has left Inter after four years and is expected to sign a two-year deal with Saudi side Al-Hilal in the coming days.

Sources close to the matter tell Football Italia that Inzaghi will receive a signing bonus between €4m and €5m.

The Italian tactician will make his debut in the Club World Cup against Real Madrid on June 14.

Inzaghi won six trophies during his four-year spell with the Nerazzurri and reached the Champions League Final twice.

Football Italia understands Inzaghi will fly to the USA in the coming hours, but a representative of Al-Hilal has already arrived in Milan to fix the latest bureaucratic details with the Italian tactician.

The two-year deal that Inzaghi will sign includes an option for a third season tied to team-related performances.

Inzaghi had one more year left in his contract with the Nerazzurri, but the Serie A giants have still agreed to release the 49-year-old.

“Just like the other members of this exclusive group, Inzaghi has contributed significantly to Inter’s growth and will forever go down in history as  the coach who led us to the second star.”
